Privacy Policy

This policy explains what SwiftCheckPrint collects, why it is used, and the choices available to you.

In plain English

SwiftCheckPrint is a document-preparation tool, not a bank.

We use information to create, save, organize, and print checks. SwiftCheckPrint does not access bank balances, move money, clear checks, or process ACH or card payments.

Optional QuickBooks access can show company, vendor, and account names. If you turn on “Record in QuickBooks” for a check, SwiftCheckPrint also sends the check date, amount, number, memo, selected vendor, paid-from account, and expense category needed to create the accounting entry. We do not send routing numbers, full bank account numbers, signatures, or check images to QuickBooks.

Information we handle

Information depends on the features you use.

  • Account information: your name, email address, user identifier, authentication status, and sign-in activity.
  • Check and printing information: payee, amount, date, memo, check number, issuer details, routing and account numbers, saved printing accounts, and check history.
  • Device information: browser storage may hold drafts, recovery copies, print calibration, fonts, appearance settings, and guest signatures.
  • Signature images: guest signatures remain in that browser. A signed-in user may save a signature with a cloud-synced printing account for use across devices.
  • Optional check-stub images: when a signed-in user adds an invoice, receipt, or remittance image to a saved check, the image is stored privately with that user’s check until it is replaced, removed, or the associated data is deleted. These images are not sent to QuickBooks.
  • QuickBooks information: if you connect QuickBooks Online, we store authorization tokens securely on our server along with the connected company identifier. We may temporarily display vendor and account names, and we store QuickBooks transaction identifiers and sync status for checks you choose to record.
  • Usage information: Google Analytics may collect browser, device, page-view, interaction, and approximate location information through cookies or similar technology. Our own privacy-light dashboard also counts page views, broad traffic-source categories, approximate 30-minute browser sessions, and an anonymous completed-check event for guest or Print-only use. These totals do not include bank details, check contents, payees, amounts, signatures, full referring URLs, or user-entered text.
How we use it

We use information to operate and improve the service.

  • Create printable checks and PDF previews
  • Save and restore your checks, printing accounts, and settings
  • Authenticate users and protect private account data
  • Provide optional QuickBooks vendor and account-name syncing and create direct-expense check entries when you request it
  • Measure reliability and understand which features are useful
  • Prevent abuse, troubleshoot problems, and comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

Service providers

Some information is processed by companies that help run the service.

Google Firebase provides authentication, hosting, database, private file storage, server functions, and security infrastructure. Google Analytics helps measure site usage. Intuit processes authentication, supplies QuickBooks data, and creates a direct-expense check entry only when you connect your company and choose to record a printed check.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service, or as part of a business transfer subject to appropriate safeguards.

Your choices

You control your saved information and connections.

  • You can use core check preparation without signing in and clear local browser data through your browser.
  • You can edit or delete saved checks and printing accounts from the portal.
  • You can disconnect QuickBooks from the Accounts page. Disconnecting revokes or removes the stored connection without deleting information in QuickBooks.
  • You can request access to or deletion of your SwiftCheckPrint account data by emailing info@swiftcheckprint.com.

We retain information while your account or connection is active and as reasonably needed for security, backup, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes.

Security and updates

We use reasonable safeguards, but no online system is risk-free.

Access controls, encrypted network connections, and private server-side storage are used to protect information. You are responsible for protecting your sign-in and the devices and printers you use.

SwiftCheckPrint is not directed to children under 13. We may update this policy as the service changes. The effective date above will be updated when changes are made.
